My kids love these Ranch Crackers...so I thought I'd share my adapted recipe for them here. This is actually a 1/2 recipe (with a little tweaking) b/c I think that's a better amount to make and easier to buy the ingredients for.
Ranch Snack Crackers:
1 bag regular oyster crackers
1/2 package (1/2 envelope) of dry Ranch mix
1/2 c. oil
1/2 t. lemon pepper
1/2 t. garlic powder
1-2 T. dried Dill (we use 2 T, but we <3 dill)
Mix Oil and dry ingred. (lemon pep, garlic pow, dill, ranch) together using a whisk. Pour crackers into a 9x12 baking pan or glass dish. Whisk up the oil mix again and pour over top of the crackers, mix well. Bake slowly at about 300 degrees, for 30-40minutes. Take the crackers out every 10 minutes and stir them up. After 20 minutes you can start seeing if they are done, once they are "dry" they are done...and they don't need to brown and they bake really quick! (: Hope that makes sense, please leave me a comment if you have any questions (:
They are yummy...especially if your kids (and you!) love ranch! (: They make a good on-the-go snack and my 1-y-old loves them too (she's not old enough to chew up chex mix, so I like making this better for parties and such!).
Yum, Yum! (: Happy Snack'n! Janelle
