Snack Cracker Recipe
My kids love these Ranch Crackers...so I thought I'd share my adapted recipe for them here. This is actually a 1/2 recipe (with a little tweaking) b/c I think that's a better amount to make and easier to buy the ingredients for.
Ranch Snack Crackers:
1 bag regular oyster crackers
1/2 package (1/2 envelope) of dry Ranch mix
1/2 c. oil
1/2 t. lemon pepper
1/2 t. garlic powder
1-2 T. dried Dill (we use 2 T, but we <3 dill)
Mix Oil and dry ingred. (lemon pep, garlic pow, dill, ranch) together using a whisk. Pour crackers into a 9x12 baking pan or glass dish. Whisk up the oil mix again and pour over top of the crackers, mix well. Bake slowly at about 300 degrees, for 30-40minutes. Take the crackers out every 10 minutes and stir them up. After 20 minutes you can start seeing if they are done, once they are "dry" they are done...and they don't need to brown and they bake really quick! (: Hope that makes sense, please leave me a comment if you have any questions (:
They are yummy...especially if your kids (and you!) love ranch! (: They make a good on-the-go snack and my 1-y-old loves them too (she's not old enough to chew up chex mix, so I like making this better for parties and such!).
Yum, Yum! (: Happy Snack'n! Janelle

my model
My daughter (she just turned 4) has been "helping" me take pictures of new items to put on my etsy shop, and she particularly likes to help w/ the ribbons...she's a big fan, as am I! (: She usually gives them funny voices and personalities too...but that's beside the point. I had her hold some sheer ribbon in her hand so I could get a good picture of it, and that's where the "model" thing came in...now she loves being my hand-model when I take the pictures.
I'm not sure if these pictures will make it into the listings or not, not sure if the pink nail polish w/ blue sparkles will deter any shoppers... so I'm posting them here to see what you think & so all her hard work modeling doesn't go to waste! (:
And this is what my 1-year-old likes to do when mommy is trying to take pictures... hehe, then I get to use the paper for myself! (:
It's great to be an at-home mom b/c I get to be with my kids all the time and I really do (no jokes) like my daughters help with the biz (: It's great to have this time with them and I am so happy for it! --Janelle
PS-- do you like my new blog banner?? I changed it and my shop banner too!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
For breakfast today to celebrate St. Patrick's Day we had gold coins (banana slices w/ yellow sprinkles), green yogurt (lime), and green scrambled eggs (kinda gross-looking I know). Oh, and my mom left a baggie of Lucky Charms so we ate those too (a first for my kiddos!). Here's some pictures...
We are teaching an after-school scrapbooking class today, so I'm off to dig for a bit of green clothing for the girls and I so we don't get PiNcHeD! (: Enjoy your day! --Janelle

Paperbag Album for daughter #2 (:
I am having a parent/child scrapbook class tomorrow evening, so I made this as a sample for class. My other one is of my first daughter (click here to see the first one). I have made these for over 2 years and sold them @ craft shows and other venues and they are always a big hit and I usually sell-out. I sell them "pre-made" and ready-to-go just add your own photos for around $7.00, and I recently started making the CD Case Albums the same way and started selling those @ shows as well. I am thinking of putting these pre-mades up in my etsy shop too, what do you think? They are pretty simple and easy-to-make, and I keep them that way so the pictures are really the "spotlight" of the books. I'll be making more this week (w/o my own photos!) to take to the home show here in Sibley on Saturday (@ the elem. school from 10-4) ! Anyways, can't wait to see what creative ideas the kids in class tomorrow come up with! (: Happy Scrapp'n! --Janelle
Note: Thank you for your encouragement... I went ahead and listed a premade paperbag album in my shop, I appreciate your nice comments! (: Check it out here!

can you tell my favorite color is BLUE ??
We took a vacation a few weeks ago...and while the kids napped I had entirely too much fun using some of this paper (and a sheet of the LOL paper too) and a pack of these "together" rub-ons! (: Oh, and my daughter left out a chunky blue crayon that just had to be used!
I was happy to have a few layouts done "just for fun" this time! (:
Have a great week! Janelle (be sure to check out my last post "ribbons" for a great deal in my shop!)
